The agentic ATS. Automate the work, own the decisions.

Tally builds your career site, posts the roles, sources and screens candidates, schedules interviews and drafts offers across 200+ tools. Your team approves every decision that matters.

A person approves every decision. Nothing is sent, booked or closed without you.

Tally does the work. You make the calls.

Six tools, forty tabs, AI making calls no one can explain. The EU AI Act made hiring AI high-risk. A decision you can’t defend is a decision you can’t make.

Talara puts an agent at the core of the ATS and a person at every gate. Speed isn’t the moat anymore. Provable speed is.

Reasoning for every score

Every number shows its work.

A candidate carries two scores, and they are not the same thing. The match score is algorithmic and deterministic. Tally’s read is the AI judgement, and it argues with the algorithm when it disagrees.

A candidate record in Talara showing an algorithmic match score of 83 out of 100 labelled algorithmic with a hover breakdown, Tally's read of the evidence, and a benchmark against the rest of the pipeline.

The algorithmic match score, labelled as algorithmic, with a breakdown on hover and the benchmark it was measured against.

When the AI disagrees, it says so.

Tally scored this candidate 78 against an algorithmic 83 and explained the five-point gap: the CV lacks evidence for three requirements the role depends on. Every read carries its sources, a confidence figure and a generation timestamp, so you can weigh it or throw it out.

Tally's Insight tab: an AI role-fit score of 78 out of 100 flagged as five points below the algorithmic match, a written rationale for the gap, a traceability list of the CV evidence behind it, a 72 percent confidence figure, a generation timestamp, and separate strengths and risks columns.

The human gate

Nothing moves without a person.

Tally drafts, sources, screens, schedules and prepares. It does not decide. The steps that change a candidate’s life wait for a human, and the record carries the name of whoever opened the gate.

01 Advance a candidate Tally ranks the shortlist and shows the reasoning. Who moves forward is your call.
02 Send an offer Drafted against the approved range and the role’s terms. It leaves only when you send it.
03 Close a role Recorded as a human decision, with the actor and the timestamp written to the audit trail.
The agent cannot act on these without you. Not a preference, not a setting. How the gate works
MCP-native

Your whole ATS, native in Claude.

The Model Context Protocol is foundational, not bolted on. Tally’s 200+ tools are exposed over MCP, so you can draft roles, source, screen, schedule and build offers from a Claude conversation or any MCP client. The gate travels with them: Tally states what it is about to do and waits.

A Claude conversation driving Talara over MCP: asked to schedule an interview, Tally proposes a time, confirms the platform, then lists the candidate, date, platform, duration and notetaker and asks Confirm before anything is booked.

Talara running inside Claude over MCP. Tally lays out exactly what it is about to book, then stops and asks.

Speed for your team. Proof for your board.

If you run the team

Your recruiters stop operating software.

  • Hours back, every week. Tally drafts roles, fills the pipeline, screens inbound, and books interviews. Your team spends its time on judgment.
  • Fits the stack you run. Native sync with BambooHR and HiBob hands hired candidates to your HRIS without re-keying. Gmail, Outlook and Google Calendar send candidate emails and schedule interviews on your behalf.
  • No black boxes. Every step shows its reasoning; every consequential one waits for your yes.
If you answer for it

Move at machine speed without growing your risk.

  • Built for the EU AI Act. Human oversight, transparency, bias monitoring, audit trail. Structural, not policy.
  • Every decision is attributable. A named person, a timestamp, a before and after.
  • Provable over MCP too. The human gate holds even when tools run from Claude.

Questions
Talara is an AI-native, agentic ATS (applicant tracking system). Tally, its AI, uses more than 200 tools to draft roles, source, screen, schedule, and build offers, but every consequential action requires an explicit human approval enforced at the database level, and the platform keeps an immutable record of every decision.
A person stays responsible for every consequential decision, even when software does the work leading up to it. No candidate advances, no offer sends, and no role closes without a recorded human approval. The gate is a database constraint, not a setting that can be turned off.
Talara's audit log carries resource identifiers rather than personal data, so GDPR erasure requests do not destroy your records. For the EU AI Act, which classifies hiring AI as HIGH-RISK, Talara satisfies the requirements structurally: documented human oversight, transparency, bias monitoring, and a complete audit trail.
Yes. The Model Context Protocol is foundational to Talara, not bolted on. Tally's tools are exposed over MCP, so you can reach Talara natively from Claude or any MCP client and run real recruiting work, with the same human-approval gate enforced everywhere.
Two audiences at once: the operators who run hiring day to day, who get their time back as Tally handles the busywork, and the executives accountable for it, who get a provable, defensible record of every decision.
