## What Talara is

Talara is a software platform for enterprise recruiting teams that combines five AI specialist agents (draft, post, source, screen, schedule) into one system. Unlike traditional applicant tracking systems, compliance and human oversight are hardcoded into Talara's architecture, not configurable features.

## Core differentiator

Every consequential action in Talara (moving a candidate forward, sending an offer, closing a role) requires a logged human approval before it executes. The gate is a database constraint. No agent, no API call, and no misconfiguration can bypass it.

Talara is built for organizations subject to:
- SOC 2 Type II ready (controls in place; not yet certified)
- GDPR (audit log uses resource identifiers, not personal data: right-to-erasure compliant)
- EU AI Act HIGH-RISK classification (employment decisions require human oversight, transparency, bias monitoring, and full audit trails: all structural in Talara)

- Immutable audit log with full decision attribution
- Real-time disparate impact monitoring
- Magic-link approval flow (no hiring manager login required)
- Integrations: Gmail and Outlook (send from your own mailbox), Google and Outlook Calendar, Zoom, Slack and Microsoft Teams, BambooHR and HiBob (HRIS), and MCP (Claude or any MCP client). Job posts are formatted for Indeed and LinkedIn and published from your own account. ATS sync with Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS and Workday HCM is on the roadmap, not shipped.
